HTST Pasteurization Systems
Millerbernd Systems was engaged by Marquez Brothers to design and manufacture an HTST (high temperature, short time) pasteurization system for processing cream and yogurt at a capacity of 1800 gallons an hour. The project acceptance was based on the condition that we could deliver a turnkey and pretested system that not only maintain optimum product flavor and texture but could be easily installed to minimize the production downtime.
We recommended, designed and built the HTST on a skid with all controls and electrical controls including pump drives on a NEMA 4 Panel to alleviate onsite assembly and installation.
We delivered this compact HTST system meeting the client’s pasteurization requirements for the volume of milk processed while providing consistent control of temperature, flow and conductivity maintaining the quality of the cream and yogurt flavor and texture.
