Winsted, Minn., May 15, 2025 – Winsted-based Millerbernd Manufacturing, a global leader in DOT traffic and lighting infrastructure and circular product solutions, recently acquired C4 Welding, a certified precision welding and machining manufacturer located in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. The purchase will instantly add greater capability and capacity for Millerbernd, while expanding the company’s portfolio with diversification in circular products and the addition of ASME-certified pressure vessels.

All of C4’s workforce will remain employed as their 154,000-square-foot facility continues operation. The facility will now be called Millerbernd Circular Products.
“We’re very excited about this acquisition,” said Eric Stack, President at Millerbernd. “We pride ourselves on our quality, capability, and capacity, and the addition of C4 is going to allow us to achieve higher levels in all three areas.”
Millerbernd is known for producing high-quality steel street and area lighting structures, traffic signal poles, and a wide range of circular products. These components are used in Department of Transportation infrastructure, as well as in the mining, construction, wind energy, rail, and HVAC industries.
“This fast-tracks our long-term growth strategy,” said Millerbernd CEO and owner Trevor Millerbernd. “Now we have additional capacity and access to the area’s larger pool of talent, which will have an immediate impact.”
The acquisition will accelerate Millerbernd’s pursuit of continuous innovation and give its customers more options for start-to-finish manufacturing solutions. It also provides greater growth opportunities for all employees.
