    Millerbernd currently employees approximately 500 talented people.

  • Where does Millerbernd Manufacturing have facilities?

    Our facilities are in Winsted, MN. We have a main campus including our Transportation & Infrastructure operations at 622 6th St S, Winsted, MN. Our Ring & Cylinder campus is at 595 Industrial Drive, Winsted, MN.

Job Search

  • How do I search and apply for open positions at Millerbernd Manufacturing?

    We list all current job openings on the Careers Page, where you can search and apply. Once you find a job that interests you, we offer a few ways to apply.

    1. Create an account by providing your mobile number or email address and then either autofill with a resume or enter the data manually.
    2. Sign in through your social media account from LinkedIn, Google or Facebook.
  • What are the steps in your hiring process?

    After an initial screening of your resume or background by a member of our talent acquisition team, individuals who meet basic requirements will be reached out to for an initial phone or virtual interview. If there is a good match, we may advance to the next stage which would include an interview or a series of interviews. These may be onsite including a tour of our manufacturing facility or may be virtual. Based on the results of these interviews, an offer for employment is extended to the most qualified applicant.

    For some technical positions including welding, we will perform a welding assessment onsite to evaluate your welding skills.

  • What do I need to wear to an onsite interview?

    When an applicant is onsite for an interview that includes a tour, safety is very important. Our applicants should wear closed-toed shoes and long sturdy pants. We will provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including a hard helmet, safety glasses and hearing protection.

  • Does Millerbernd hire for roles outside of manufacturing?

    Absolutely! We assemble teams with all types of skills. This enables us to build better products, make better decisions and serve our customers better. We need people with a variety of skills and experiences.

  • Does Millerbernd offer opportunities for people without college degrees?

    Yes, depending on the nature of the role in which you’re interested. If a degree is a requirement, it will usually be stated in the job description. However, a candidate who does not hold a degree may still be considered for our vacancies if they can demonstrate substantial relevant experience.

  • My English skills are limited, can I work for Millerbernd Manufacturing?

    Yes, depending on the nature of the role in which you’re interested. We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate our values and the essential functions of the role. We have expanded our capabilities in the recruitment, onboarding and internal communications space, particularly with Spanish-only applicants and employees.

  • Will Millerbernd sponsor me if I need a permit to work in the US?

    Millerbernd does not offer sponsorships for permits to work in the US at this time.

Application Process

  • How long does it take to complete the online applications?

    The application process is quick and easy to complete in approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Can I apply for several positions at the same time?

    Yes, you can apply for more than one role at a time using the same candidate profile. We recommend you apply for only those roles that align with your experience and interest.

  • How can I be sure that my application has been received?

    After you complete the application process for a position, you will see a message on the screen confirming your application has been received.

  • I’ve applied to a position. What happens next?

    A person on the talent acquisition team will review your background and qualifications. If there is a match, the talent acquisition team will reach out to schedule a phone or virtual interview. If there is not a match for the requested role, you will be notified through the email you provided to us.

  • Does Millerbernd have an employee referral program and how does a current Millerbernd employee refer me for a role?

    Yes, we do have an employee referral program. During the application process, you will see the question “How did you hear about us?” Please select “employee referral” and then enter the referring employee’s name. Our talent acquisition team will follow up with the employee.

  • Is a background check required as part of my application?

    Millerbernd job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of our pre-employment screening process, which includes a background check. The background check is initiated after you have accepted your conditional job offer.

  • Is a drug test required as part of my application?

    Certain Millerbernd roles may require a drug screen as a condition of employment. If the role you’ve received an offer for requires a drug screen, you will be notified at the time of offer and be prompted with the next steps during the screening process. Failure to complete a required drug screen in the allotted time may result in the withdrawal of your conditional offer of employment.

  • Will you notify me when a job I applied to has been filled?

    You should generally receive contact when you are no longer in consideration for a role you applied to – either by email or directly from the talent acquisition team. If for some reason you have not heard from us for several weeks about a role, we may have moved forward with another candidate for the role.

  • If I am unsuccessful at any stage of the recruitment process, when can I reapply?

    If you were not selected for a particular role, you may always reapply to a similar or alternate role at any time. We recommend you apply only for those roles which align with your experience and interests.

  • Are there application deadlines?

    Vacancies will be filled on an ongoing basis after opening and we may close applications at any time. Therefore we highly recommend you submit your application as early as possible to be considered for the opportunity of your choice.

  • I am a former employee. Can I reapply to open positions?

    Former employees may apply to open positions. The talent acquisition team will review your background and qualifications for the role including your performance during your time with us. If there is a match, the talent acquisition team will reach out to schedule a virtual or in person interview. If there is no match, you will be notified through the email you provided to us.

Interview Process

  • How can I prepare for my interview?

    We make employment decisions on your background experiences and core values fit with our organization. Be prepared to tell us about yourself! We want to get to know who you are and what you’re passionate about. Have some examples in mind of how you have collaborated with others. We also suggest you take some time to research our company, the business you are interviewing with and the job description. This will help you understand the specifics of the team and the role.

  • When will I hear back from my recruiter after I’ve interviewed?

    We aim to get back to candidates within a few days of an interview, although sometimes it may be longer depending on the number of candidates interviewed. Feel free to reach out to your individual recruiter if you have questions in the interim. All virtual and onsite candidates will be notified regardless of whether they are selected or not.

  • What do I do if I need an accommodation during the hiring process?
